The most north-eastern state of north east India, Arunachal Pradesh means the land of the dawn-lit mountains. The state's cultural heritage and trekking routes are what draw tourists all year long. It provides abundant scope for angling, rafting, trekking and hiking.
Situated at the foothills of Himalayas, Itanagar is the capital of Arunachal Pradesh.
Arunachal Pradesh is called the "Land of the Rising Sun" because it is the first state in India to see the sunrise. The name is a Sanskrit translation where "Aruna" means sun and "achal" means mountains, so it also translates to "land of the dawn-lit mountains". The state is located in the northeastern tip of India, and the village of Dong in the Anjaw district is the first place to be touched by the sun's rays in the country.
Day 2: - After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga. Tonight, spend the night at this Kaziranga hotel.
Day 3: - Early morning, drive to Kaziranga Jungle Safari and after breakfast, start your journey to Dirang. After completing the ILP permission work, visit Tippi Orchidarium, Upper Monastery on the way. After stopping the car at Baba Mandir for a while, we will proceed towards Dirang. After reaching Dirang, we will spend the night at Dirang.
Day 4: - After breakfast, we will start our journey towards Tawang via Sela Pass. On the way, we will see Nuranang Falls, Yashwantgarh and also have lunch. On reaching Tawang, we will spend the night at the hotel in Tawang.
Day 5:- After breakfast, we will visit local attractions (Tawang Monastery, Handicraft Center, War Memorial, etc.). We will return to the hotel for lunch. We will finish our shopping in the afternoon. Tonight, we will spend the night in Tawang.
Day 6: - After breakfast, we will start our journey towards Bumla Pass and Madhuri Lake. We will return to the hotel for lunch. The evening is free for you. Today, we will spend the night in Tawang.
Day 7: - After breakfast, depart from Tawang for Bomdila - We will reach Bomdila via Sela Pass. We will visit the monastery and local market in Bomdila. Today we will spend the night in Bomdila.
Day 8:- After breakfast, depart from Bomdila for Guwahati. Today it is time to bid farewell to Guwahati and catch the train. Today we will spend the night in this train.
